what we do:
occult creative is a remote design studio specializing in branding, illustration, and all-around design. our studio consists of one creative director and a collective of curated freelancers specializing in different fields.
values
culture conscious
We’re committed to incorporating woman-owned, immigrant-owned, BIPOC-owned, LGBTQ-owned, and small businesses whenever humanly possible because we like to do the right freakin’ thing. And we want to attract clients that are also interested in doing the right freakin’ thing.
remote working
All design work is done from the comfort of our own home offices - because true creatives can be creative anywhere. Meetings are done via zoom. It’s safe, it’s efficient, and saves us the overhead cost of an office so that we can provide you with agency-level work at attainable pricing. It’s Simple. Embrace the future.
transparency
Truth and trust are king around here. We’re completely upfront about everything - our opinions, our pricing, our feelings, our hopes, and dreams. Don’t be afraid to ask questions - this is OUR expertise, not yours; there are no ‘stupid questions’ here. Our only motive is to provide you with design solutions that work.
no fuss
We have strong opinions, but no ego. We create cool shit on command. Period. We don’t need to dazzle or confuse you with fancy design jargon to make you feel small (shout out to every agency I’ve ever worked for). We’re trying to make the design process as efficient and easy for you as possible.
passion for the industry
Creative problem-solving is what we do. We love it. When we’re not creative-problem solving for money, we’re inflicting unsolicited advice to unappreciative strangers. So, give us your problems. Please. We’re bored.
personalization
We handpick a team of professionals that specialize in what you need. We realize every client is different and deserving of tailored attention. It doesn’t matter if a project is small or large, we can assemble a team of 1 or a team of 10. Our goal is to get the right people working on your project.
